Integration in development
Facebook Messenger
runClear is preparing a Page-scoped Messenger integration so a business can handle customer conversations in the same workspace as its leads, deals, and follow-up.
This integration is currently in development and is not publicly available. This page describes the intended integration for platform review and future customers.
What the integration will do
When enabled, a business will be able to connect a Facebook Page it manages. Messenger conversations for the selected Page can then appear in the runClear Conversations workspace, where authorized team members can view the customer context and respond.
The intended workflow is inbound and conversational: a customer messages the business’s Page, the business receives the conversation in runClear, and an authorized team member responds in the context of the related customer and sales record.
How access will be authorized
Each business will authorize runClear through Meta’s authorization flow. The business will select the Facebook Page or Pages it manages and chooses to connect. Access will be limited to the approved permissions and selected Pages; one runClear organization will not receive another organization’s Messenger data.
runClear will not ask businesses to paste Facebook Page access tokens into the product as the intended public connection method.
Information used
The integration may process:
- Facebook Page identifiers and Page authorization details.
- Messenger sender identifiers and conversation participants.
- Message text, timestamps, supported metadata, and delivery state.
- The related runClear contact, conversation, deal, assignment, and activity history.
This information will be used to deliver the integration, maintain the business’s conversation history, provide customer context, secure access, and troubleshoot authorized connections. It will not be sold or shared for third-party advertising.
Business and user controls
- Only authorized organization members will be able to configure the connection.
- The business will be able to disconnect a Page and stop future access.
- Organization roles and permissions will control access inside runClear.
- Users may request deletion through our data deletion instructions.
Operator and contact
runClear is developed and operated by getClear Digital, a sole proprietorship based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Questions about the integration can be sent to team@getclear.digital.
